Berry Chia Jam

This homemade berry chia jam is a fusion of warmed berries, lightly sweetened with maple syrup and thickened with powerful chia seeds.

Servings 1 cups

Ingredients
  

  • 2.5 cups frozen or fresh berries
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions
 

  • Simmer the fruit over low heat in a sauce pan until warmed through and softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Mash the fruit with a fork or potato masher to your desired consistency.
  • Add the maple syrup and chia seeds. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Remove from heat and transfer to a bowl to cool and thicken. Cool on the countertop or in the refrigerator.
